Best time: The tower stay runs year-round, with the walk starting in the afternoon and returning before breakfast the next morning. October to March offers the coolest, driest conditions and clear night skies. The monsoon season (June to September) is warmer, wetter, and greener, with more insects and muddier trails, though the forest is at its most lush. Animal activity at the waterhole is often best in the dry months, when wildlife gathers around the few remaining water sources.
